Solar predicament

In Uncategorized on November 29, 2009 at 2:59 PM

I was about to write a story about this new store that opened in San Clemente called Casa Verde. it’s an artist co-op that sells goods made from recycled products and teaches organic gardening. Then I found out that this green store also runs completely on solar energy and is in a historic building. Turns out it’s the first historic building in Orange County to have historic panels. This comes at a time whena push and pull between preserving the past and innovating for the future is taking place as some hsitoric preservation rules prevent some types of solar panel use. Read the story to find out more.
